Our Purpose

Healthy Change Challenge empowers people of all intellectual and physical abilities to make long term improvements to their health and wellbeing while having fun!

Take the Challenge!
  • Boost your abilities and join our continually innovative, capacity building 12 week program called the  "12 Week Challenge".

  • Unleash your potential with empowering support from our extensive network of health trainers and professionals.

  • Take charge of cooking, shopping, mindfulness, and exercise sessions in dynamic teams throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Region every day of the program.  CLICK HERE to follow the daily program activities.

  • Experience new activities and experiences designed by participants in line with their goals and interests to keep things fun and exciting! It's your program so let us know what will get you moving!

  • Challenge yourself at your level.  As a registered NDIS provider- we empower people of all physical and intellectual abilities achieve great outcomes.​  In just 12 weeks program participants improved across all fields of physiological and mental wellbeing testing conducted by the University of Newcastle. 

 

  • We are also building a free online health and wellbeing platform for people of all ages and abilities. The accessible Village website features more than 270 video activities created by innovative health trainers and professionals from around Australia including mobility friendly workouts, games, nutrition, cooking and mindfulness sessions.

  • We collaborate and partner with the most innovative and inclusive organisations in the community to provide unique experiences for all people with a disability.

  • HCC is a social enterprise. 100% of non NDIS funding received from grants, donations and sponsorships is reinvested back into the program.
